Content creator
Shoot, edit and publish the season as it happens - social, journal and the photography that sells the school.
The job
Peak’s marketing runs on real footage of real instructors teaching real clients. No stock, no staged handshakes, no anonymous skier in a jacket. That means someone has to be out on the hill with a camera, most days, all season.
That is this job. You shoot in the morning, cut in the afternoon, and publish while it is still true. A powder morning in Avoriaz should be online that evening, not in a content calendar for March.
What you’d be making
Short-form video is the bulk of it - lesson moments, coaching explainers, resort conditions, the GAP course cohort’s season. Alongside that you keep the photo library alive: instructor portraits shot to a consistent crop, resort imagery through the season, lesson photography we can actually use on the site.
You will also write. Our journal is a real SEO engine, not a blog nobody reads, and you will publish into it.
Creative control
We have a defined brand and a house voice, and inside it you have genuine room. If you think we are shooting the wrong thing, say so - the last two changes to how we film lessons both came from the person holding the camera.
How we hire
Send the form below with a link to your portfolio, reel or Instagram. That matters more here than a CV. We read every application and reply to all of them.
What you'd actually do.
- Shoot stills and video on the mountain, several days a week, in all conditions
- Cut and publish short-form for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube on a steady weekly rhythm
- Build and maintain the photo library - instructor portraits, resort shots, lesson imagery
- Write and publish journal posts in Sanity, our CMS
- Capture client stories and testimonials with consent, properly
- Keep the brand consistent - Peak has a clear visual language and it is worth protecting
The basics.
Essential
- A portfolio that shows you can shoot and edit, not just one or the other
- Confident on skis - you have to keep up with the lesson to film it
- Fluent English and a good writer
- Your own camera body and lenses
- Available in resort for the full winter
Nice to have
- Drone experience and a licence to fly commercially in France
- Experience shooting sport or action
- Working knowledge of a headless CMS
- Basic paid social experience
Not sure you tick every box? Tell us about yourself anyway, we'd rather hear from a great candidate than miss one.
