Essential pre-holiday checklist for a perfect ski trip

The days are getting shorter, the air is getting colder, and the mountains are calling.

If you’re joining us in resort this season, now is the perfect time to get organised. A smooth, stress-free ski holiday starts long before you click into your skis. Here’s everything you should book in advance — along with our trusted Peak partners who help make your trip effortless.

Lessons, accommodation, equipment, sustainable ski kit — your complete winter warm-up guide.

1. Book your Peak ski lessons

Lessons are the heart of your mountain experience, especially during the busy festive weeks. Booking early guarantees:

  • Your preferred instructor
  • Your ideal time slot
  • Maximum progress on the slopes

Our experienced instructors are ready to help every skier, from nervous first-timers to seasoned experts.

Book your lessons.

2. Secure your accommodation

We’ve handpicked a collection of trusted partners who consistently deliver outstanding comfort, service, and mountain hospitality. The places we recommend to relax, reset, and enjoy the very best of Morzine:

  • The Boutique Chalet Company
  • Jack & Jill
  • Elevation Alps
  • More Mountain

Enquire through our book accommodation page, mention your preferred partner, and they’ll reach out with availability tailored to your stay.

3. Sort your ski and snowboard hire

Great equipment makes a world of difference, and our partners deliver the best kit right to your door.

Ski Mobile — delivery to your accommodation. Peak guests get 20% off with Ski Mobile. They cover Morzine, Les Gets, Montriond, St Jean d’Aulps and more.

  • Delivery arranged around your arrival
  • Morning drop-offs for late arrivals
  • Quick swaps or fixes at your accommodation
  • Friendly, flexible service

Note: Ski Mobile doesn’t deliver to Avoriaz — it’s a car-free resort. See below for options.

Skiset — convenient shop locations around PDS. If you can’t have your skis delivered, book through Skiset. Several shops dotted around the resort. Ideal if you prefer in-store fittings or need a central pickup point.

Skimium — Alpes Attitude in the heart of Morzine. If you’re staying in Morzine village and prefer the in-shop experience, head to Alpes Attitude in the red Baraty building by the tourism office. Discount on rental, plus 10% off all Peak Performance products if you show your Peak booking confirmation. Looking to upgrade your kit and get that new shell jacket you’ve been dreaming of? Alpes Attitude has you covered.

4. Rent winter clothing sustainably

Not everyone wants to buy new ski gear — especially for growing kids or one-off trips.

Our partner Adventure Kit Hire offers high-quality, durable, stylish ski clothing for rent. Their kit is carefully selected for performance and longevity, so you’ll look great and stay warm without buying new. You can even add goggles and gloves.

A sustainable, affordable option — perfect for families and the environmentally conscious.

5. Upgrade your wardrobe with Peak Performance

Want new ski wear for your holiday? Are you a seasoned skier urgently needing to upgrade that jacket you’ve already patched up twice?

You can now shop Peak Performance in resort (Morzine and Les Gets — Avoriaz coming soon) at Skimium / Alpes Attitude. Show your Peak booking confirmation in-store for 10% off.

Your holiday, sorted

A little early planning goes a long way. By booking your:

  • Peak ski lessons
  • Accommodation
  • Ski hire
  • Sustainable ski kit
  • New mountain clothing

…you’ll arrive in the Alps ready for what really matters — carving fresh pistes, making memories, and enjoying every moment in the snow.

We can’t wait to ski with you.
